Keep it on your ear for about 5 to 10 minutes and repeat this a couple of times a day.

2. Rice

Rice can be used in the same way as salt. A single cup of rice used in the same manner described above.

You have probably heard of the absorbing power of rice. When used as an earache natural remedy, rice can help draw out the fluid in the ear and reduce the pain you are feeling.

3. Garlic

There are several ways to use garlic as a home remedy for ear infection.

One way to relieve ear pain is by cooking two cloves in mustard oil and apply the strained solution on the infected ear (in the form of ear drops). Just make sure that the solution is bearably hot.

If you don’t want to use drops in your ear, you can boil garlic cloves in water as an alternative. Crush them and put them in some clean cloth that you will place against the affected ear.

You could also mix the garlic with some salt for better effect, or opt for garlic ear oil drops.

4. Basil

Basil can treat ear infections and earaches by relieving the pain and reducing the infection.

You can always extract holy basil leaves juice and apply it onto the affected area.

You could also bake an onion and put a half in a cotton cloth. Five minutes with the cloth applied to your ear should be enough. You can repeat the process as many time as necessary.

7. Breast Milk
