1. Prune Juice
Prune juice is the classical constipation relief remedy. The juice of this particular fruit can effectively help people with bowel problems. It is considered a natural laxative due to its high levels of sorbitol and fiber contents.
In order to relieve yourself from constipation, drink the prune juice twice a day. One cup of prune juice in the morning and one at night are highly recommended.

Consume olive oil in the morning (1 tablespoon). It works best on an empty stomach.
I personally find the plain olive oil difficult to consume. If you wish to flavor the olive oil, you can always use lemon juice. The lemon is not only adding flavor to this remedy, but can also aid with constipation problems.
3. Lemon Juice and Water
I think it is safe enough to say that water is the most potent treatment for any illness. Additionally, it is always free and always available!
The lemon juice has citric acid. This acid helps stimulate our digestive system and is known to flush out the toxins. Additionally, it aids the process of flushing out any foods that aren’t digested by the system.
The mixture of water and lemon juice will help you normalize your bowel movement. Mix 1 lemon juice with warm water and drink it a couple of times a day and you’ve got a great natural remedy for constipation.
The aroma of coffee sure does awaken the senses, especially in the morning. Caffeine helps stimulate the digestive system.
Coffee has a natural diuretic effect and helps people urinate more frequently. Even though it can help with constipation, you should never take more than 3 cups of coffee in a day.
Drinking too much coffee is not only bad for the body in general but can also cause constipation (which is the opposite result of what you are looking for).
Remember that water normally softens the stools.

Put the flaxseed oil (1 tablespoon) in a glass of orange juice. Drink it when necessary. The mixture should start working after 5 hours.
Lactobacillus is a known bacterial strain commonly used by a famous brand of probiotic drinks. These probiotic drinks are aimed towards aiding with digestion.
Yogurt is yet another product that is rich in probiotics. You could always take it in the morning as a healthy food alternative or as a snack.
8. Epsom Salt

If you want to help your peristalsis, start moving around. Taking a walk or jogging for as little as a few minutes a day can make a big difference. The muscle movement can be really helpful in optimizing the body’s way of functioning.
